Calcined magnesium olive sand is an excellent molding material for steel castings produced by advanced countries in the world, especially manganese steel castings. It has the advantages of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and good chemical stability. The sand has a high fire resistance (1710 ℃) and resistance to metal oxidation and corrosion. The calcined magnesium olive sand can effectively prevent the chemical sand adhesion of the casting, and ensure the smooth casting surface and clear casting profile. The calcined magnesium olive sand expands slowly at all temperatures, and is less than deformation. It has no characteristics of sudden expansion, and the casting is not easy to produce sand inclusion defects.
Large grains of calcined magnesium olivine sand are rare (certainly more than diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and other high-grade gemstones). Generally, it is less than 3 carats, and olivine with 3-10 carats is rare, so the price is relatively good. Olivine with more than 10 carats is rare. The largest olivine in the world comes from Seput, Egypt, and weighs 310 carats. A beautiful piece of olivine with a cut and ground weight of 192.75 carats, once belonging to the Russian czar, is now in the diamond treasure house in Moscow. The calcined magnesium olive sand wins by its soft color. The pleasing color of Z is medium to deep green yellow (olive green), which is as elegant as emerald but not as rich as emerald. Due to its good transparency, dirt knots can easily be seen with the naked eye. Therefore, those containing inclusions should not be used as gemstones or low-grade products. Green is rare and valuable. The grain size (more than 3 carats) is less and the value is higher.
