Preparation and melting process of fused magnesia

According to the research achievements in the preparation technology of fused magnesia in China, ordinary fused magnesia products are mainly made by melting magnesite or calcined magnesia with a content of more than 47% in the arc at high temperature. Periclase has large grain size, compact structure, strong slag resistance and excellent volume stability at high temperature. Magnesia is mainly used as a good raw material for high-grade basic bricks, carbon-containing products and unshaped refractory materials.
